Jeans – (On Sale) I am SO in LOVE with these jeans! I have worn them all day and they provide just the right amount of stretch without becoming baggy. I will be wearing these distressed denim jeans all year long! I am a huge fan of Express jeans lately. I usually order a 00 short because 00 petite is always sold out! I love all the details on these jeans like the hi-lo frayed hem! If you are petite I highly suggest always ordering short length or petite sized pants. When you roll up pant legs too much it can make you look even shorter, exactly what we’re trying to avoid, right?
Tank – This tank is so versatile. It is currently $25.00 and comes in black, yellow, white and blue. The straps are not adjustable but wearing a cute bralette underneath will help if this tank is too low cut for you. I am wearing a size XXS petite.
Bralette – If you are even on Instagram you’ve probably seen this bralette! I love that all the straps are adjustable. I will admit there’s not much padding so it is more small chested friendly. I only have the black color but I am eyeing Wisterious and White color. I am wearing a size XS and it fits TTS.
Belt – Finding a good belt has always been a challenge for me! I finally found this belt with a gold buckle that comes in black, brown and navy. I will get so much use out this belt and I think I can even wear it higher on my waist with dresses. I am wearing a size XS.
Shoes – These leopard sandals are so on trend and so affordable! Even better, a size 6 fit me perfectly! I would say these run small since my usual size is a 5.5. I wore these all day today, even downtown Charleston and have no complaints! These shoes are under $25.00 so grab them now!
Lipstick – Okay, if you know me personally, I NEVER have color on my lips. I’m always wearing nudes. I decided to branch out and swatched this color last time I was in Sephora. My friend convinced me to get it and I’m so glad she did. I am wearing shade Queen, which is a magenta pink color. This is a matte lipstick but I did not find it drying. I did reapply after lunch and a few hours later in the car. The color is very bold but adds a great pop of color!
Anywhose, today has been so fun with my husband. He has been traveling so much with work and to have him home lately is a luxury! I just want to stare at him all day when I haven’t seen him in almost two weeks. I also made my first purchase at Louis Vuitton today. Talk about an experience! You can ask anyone who knows me and they will agree that I like nice things, especially handbags. (Just being honest)! I have saved for a while to get a new LV bag. My first LV was bought from a friend and was used, so to buy one at the store, brand new, was such a treat. I do want to make one thing clear – in no way do I ever want to make anyone feel like you need luxury items. I share what I buy because I know there are women out there with similar taste and I hope they can relate to me! I also share my experiences so you can get to know me better and know what to expect if you plan to do something similar. I went to the LV store in Charleston on King Street. As soon as I walked in the alarm went off at the door (embarrassing). I think my new jeans had some kind of weird security tag in them since I had also set the alarms off at J. Crew previously! I was quickly greeted by a young lady named Trisha and I explained to her my new jeans situation. I’ve had my eye on a Neverfull MM bag for a while. I wanted a bag big enough to take to work everyday and travel with. I also wanted a bag that my laptop will fit it in. Quality is so important to me which is why I decided I wanted an LV bag. I spoke to Trisha some more and OMG she is the sweetest person! I always feel intimidated going into stores like this because in no way is this normal for me! She showed me every bag and color I asked for without making me feel rushed. Trisha was so personable throughout the process as well. I have also had my eye on a Pouchette Metis. Even though this location did not have any in stock, Trisha let me try on her very own Pochette Metis! I fell in love instantly! She offered to put my name on a list if any came to the Charleston store so she can contact me. I knew the Pouchette wasn’t what I came for so I went back to looking a Neverfulls. I have to brag on David and Trisha because they were so patient. I literally looked at the Damier Ebene and Monogram print a million times! Finally, I decided on the Monogram print but then the decision came down to the interior cloth color! I quickly decided the cherry red color was not for me. Deciding on the interior color took the longest! I finally decided to go with the Pivoine over the beige because I loved the pop of color. I felt joy seeing the bright pink color inside the bag (sounds silly, I know). I had such a wonderful experience in the store. If you are in Charleston I highly suggest asking for Trisha, she is simply the best!
I have so many more sales to share but will be doing that on Instagram stories! I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! I would love to know what you’re buying this weekend! Let me know by leaving a comment below!
