Yay!! We finally made it to the weekend! I’ll be spending my Saturday with my mom and sister, which is so rare! They both live in Charlotte, NC so we don’t get a ton of quality time together. This weekend we plan on eating all the food and doing all the relaxing things. If you’ve been following along for a while you know my mom had a double knee replacement in June. I can’t believe she is already back to work full time and has lost almost 50 pounds! She swears by Weight Watchers and a positive mindset… which is the best thing to hear and see. My mom has struggled a lot but now she’s at the top of her game and I am so proud of her! Okay….now to the Target try on!
I haven’t loved Target clothing forever… it’s definitely been a new find for me. Call me crazy, right? I have to say their quality and style has definitely improved and I think almost everyone can find a few pieces they love, no matter their style! One of my biggest concerns with shopping at Target is the fit. As most of you know I am EXTRA petite! I typically wear a 00 Petite and XXS Petite. When I find something that isn’t petite but still fits, I can hear the angels singing!! If you are in the same boat, here are a few brands that I have found run slightly smaller:
A NEW DAY
KNOX ROSE
WILD FABLE
A NEW DAY is definitely my favorite brand, as their pieces can easily transition from work to weekend. Keep in mind I still don’t find these brands to be perfectly tailored on my shape but if you are slightly any bigger than me, these brands will fit you very well. As for KNOX ROSE and WILD FABLE, the quality can be hit or miss! These two brands are geared more towards Juniors in my opinion so the fit is slightly better but the quality can be lower to keep the prices low! I also want to point out that I have found several amazing graphic tees at Target! I love this trend right now and all my favorites have been under $18! One more thing, I havent been a fan of Targets jeans so you won’t see any pants here. The fit was not right in every pair I tried on and I wasn’t a fan of the materials. Just my opinion! I think you should make that decision for yourself!
