Spring in Charleston is my favorite! I love taking strolls downtown and just being outside in general. It’s still cool in the morning but warm enough in the afternoon to lounge on the beach. We haven’t been able to make it to the beach much yet – life is crazy – but I hope to get out there soon with a good book and drink! I love layering my clothing during this time of year. Below are my outfit details
J. Crew Jean Jacket – The fit of the denim jacket is perfect! I am wearing an 00 petite and for me, it is true to size. If you like to layer a long sleeve tee or a sweater I would suggest sizing up. I have a darker denim jacket but I find myself reaching for this lighter wash more. I often pack this jacket or wear it on flights.
J. Crew Tank – I am in a size XXS petite and it fits perfectly, definitely true to size. Even though this tank is off white and light white, it’s not see through. With the changes in temps, it’s a great layering piece. This tank also comes in pink and black.
J. Crew Mercantile shorts – These shorts are a great non-petite staple. I have these shorts in navy and black. I like that they are cotton and sit right below my hips. I wear a size 00 and they are true to size.
Audra Style Earrings – I love statement earrings! I think earrings are a great way to make an outfit pop. These are very lightweight and affordable. Audra offers so many unique styles and bright colors to complement an outfit. I got these hot pink ones with cheetah detail which go great with any casual outfit or even a black dress.
Tory Burch Miller Sandals – I know you’ve probably heard of these sandals or seen them. Every so often you can find them on sale! I will say they are not the most comfortable for me. They don’t offer much support and sometimes when I wear them, I feel like I’m walking barefoot. However, they go great with so many outfits! Don’t forget to go half a size up than your regular size. So many people love them though so try them for yourself!
Necklaces – Both necklaces are from Kendra Scott. I LOVE Kendra Scott. Her jewelry is fashionable and durable. The shorter necklace is the Fern Pendant in gold. The longer necklace is the Olive long in gold and is also adjustable. Unfortunately, I don’t see the Olive necklace in gold online but the rose gold is just as pretty! These are great delicate layering pieces.
