It’s time for the Sephora Beauty Insider spring event! I am so excited… I have so many new items I want to try. I’ve linked all my favorite beauty and skincare items below!
If you haven’t signed up for Sephora’s rewards program, I highly encourage it. Not only do you get discounts, but you’re also the first to know about new products. There are also point based rewards. During the sale Rouge members get 20% off, VIB members get 15% off and Beauty Insiders get 10% off. From what I understand, there are no exclusions! It’s a great time to save on products that are rarely – if ever – discounted
#1 Murad Clarifying Toner – Great for my oily friends! I use this right after
washing my face and focus on my t-zone.
#2 Philosophy Help Me – If you are new to retinols – this is a great one to start with. I did not experience any redness or burning with this product. I mix this nightly with my moisturizer and vitamin c serum. Say hello to less noticeable fine lines and more hydrated skin.
#3 Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask – LOVE this product! If you are like me and forget to put this on – keep it by your bed and be prepared to wake up with baby soft lips!
#4 Bare Minerals Original Loose Power Foundation – HOLY GRAIL! I’ve used this since I was 14 years old. It works. I use shade medium tan. I now mix it with the #5 Bare Minerals Matte Foundation. It feels like I have nothing on my face when I wear these two products. In the matte foundation I am shade golden medium – Yes these are two very different shades but mixed together, it’s perfect for my skin tone.
#6 Bare Minerals Bare Pro Foundation – I wear this as my base foundation and use the loose powder foundations on top. The Bare Pro powder gives amazing coverage and is great for oily skin.
#7 Tartlette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette – This eye shadow palette contains warm and rich colors. The texture is buttery and so easy to blend. I use this more than other eyeshadow palettes I own!
#8 Kat Von D Tattoo Liner – another HOLY GRAIL product! If you love the cat eye look but are new to the trend this liquid eyeliner is a great purchase. I use this on my top eyelid only. It lasts all day and takes the hard work out of eyeliner. I use shade satin black.
#9 Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Pencil – As the name suggests, this is the eyeliner I used on my upper and lower waterlines. It is very pigmented and lasts all day without transferring or moving.
#10 Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in Dolce Vita – Yes, this is a splurge for eyeshadow but worth every penny. I use this palette for special occasions or evening looks. There are so many tutorials online so you won’t have a hard time learning how to use these colors. The Dolce Vita usually sells out during the Sephora sale so get it quick.
#11 Charlotte Tilbury Lip Liner in Pillow Talk – O.M.G – if you buy one thing get this lip liner and/or lipstick in Pillow Talk. This shade is universally flattering. I’m always afraid to put color on my lips but this is the absolute perfect shade of pink!
#12 Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk – I’m not a huge fan of matte lipsticks, except for this one! Just like the lip liner, this lipstick is the perfect shade of pink. It is my go to with any outfit.
#13 Nars Blush in Dolce Vita – A great neutral pink. This blush lasts all day and is highly pigmented… a little goes a long way.
#14 Laura Mercier Setting Powder- Another HOLY GRAIL item to have in your makeup bag! It took me a little while to figure out the best way to use this. For me, I put it on under my eyes and below my contour/bronzer above my jawline. The longer you let it sit, before blending it out, the better it works. This setting powder helps my makeup stay in place all day.
#15 Laura Mercier Eye Primer – I use the color wheat, which is a light-medium beige shade. This primer keeps my eyeshadow in place all day but also works as a color corrector.
#16 YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer – Yes, it is pricey but does it work? YES. I only have to buy this twice a year because a little goes a long way! This primer blurs texture and pores to help makeup look smooth.
#17 Hour Glass Mineral Veil Primer – Mix this primer with the YSL primer and your makeup will look flawless. It helps keep my makeup matte all day!
#18 Setting Spray – Keeps your makeup in place in the most humid climates!
#19 Beauty Blender Pro – The one makeup tool you really need! Yes, its a sponge, yes, it’s worth the price! It has made a huge difference in how I apply my makeup.
#20 Benefit BADgal Bang Mascara – I love the mascara wand with this product. It really helps lift the lashes and the mascara give you amazing length!
