I know you’ve already heard about the Nordstrom sale! I almost didn’t want to cover it at all on my blog but I know I’ll be shopping the sale and I know there are petite girls out there wondering what to get! The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is the store’s biggest sale that happens once a year! It’s the best time to get deals on fall and winter items. I know it can be hard to shop these items right now, especially when you live in the south and it’s currently 95 degrees outside! But I know once those cool temps hit I’ll be so thankful my closet is stocked! One reason this sale is so unique and exciting is that the items are brand new and deeply discounted. These items are only discounted during the sale and then prices go back up once the sale is over. One thing I love about Nordstrom is the quality of their clothing. I know that even though these items are discounted for the sale, the quality is still good! Below you’ll find what you need to know about the sale!
Important Dates For The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale :
July 11th – Icon Level Cardholders Can Shop
July 12th – Early Access for card members
July 18th – Last day of Early Access
July 19th – Sale Opens to the Public
August 4th – Last Day of sale. Prices go up August 5th
How To Shop Early Access:
First off let me say, I never want to convince anyone that they need a credit card! I didn’t get a Nordstrom card until last year. I decided to get the card because the rewards were great and it made sense for me. The perks are amazing! I use my card for everything from groceries to shoes! Shopping the anniversary sale early is a huge perk. You can also earn Nordstrom Notes (like Nordstrom gift cards) based on points per dollar spent. I often save these notes for this sale or to purchase luxury brand items. A great reason to shop the sale early is that a lot of the items will sell out once the sale is open to the public. From my experience, there aren’t many restocks. Which is why shopping the sale early is so great. But there will still be good stuff available if you don’t have a card and decide to wait to shop the sale until it goes public. Tips for Shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale :
- Go through your closet and figure out what you need! Quality over quantity is important to me! I use this opportunity to invest in good sweaters, denim, beauty products, and shoes. This year I also need to invest in good bras!
- Be the first to know my top picks when the sale starts. Subscribe to my blog email by scrolling to the bottom of this page and entering your email. Also, follow me on Instagram. I will most likely be sharing more on Instagram
- Buy what you want online first before going to the store to shop. Nordstrom has free returns so don’t be afraid to order multiple sizes and colors.
- If you don’t have the Nordstrom card you can still sign up for their free rewards program so you can at least get points towards Nordstrom Notes. If you do have the Nordstrom card don’t forget to use your double points day and your Nordstrom Notes towards your purchase.
