Today we celebrated Mr. Honey Sweet Petite turning 28 years old! My husband and I have been together since he was 16 and I was 14 years old, so to be celebrating him turning 28 feels so strange! Time has flown by. One thing that hasn’t changed throughout the years is how hard it is to pick out a gift for him! This year he told me he wanted a massage which was easy to book. I noticed David talking about shoes a lot lately so I also got him a gift card to pick out a new pair of kicks. I feel so honored to celebrate my sweet husband. He is so hardworking and caring. David is the most selfless person I know!
Mr. Honey Sweet Petite also takes all of my photos which brings me to another topic I want to discuss. I am a perfectionist! I hate to admit it but it’s true. This blog has definitely been testing that side of me and it hasn’t been pretty. The main reason I started this blog was to share my passions: fashion, beauty, food, and travel. I want to inspire you to try something new! I hope I can share tips to make your life easier and encourage you to travel to new places. Sounds easy enough but capturing these moments and not being too critical of myself has been challenging. I keep telling myself this is just for fun but I have days when I look at successful bloggers and wonder why I don’t have more followers or engagement. But then I remember that’s not my goal! I can’t be everyone’s cup of tea and I don’t want to be! I want to be unique and I want my readers to feel like they can relate. I am trying to remember to be kind to myself and enjoy this journey of learning!
Anywhose, my hubby also requested we have dinner at The Ordinary. If you live in Charleston or come to visit I highly recommend eating here! The restaurant is in an old bank building and has been transformed into a lively beautiful eatery. The service is wonderful and the seafood is so fresh! See our order below!
We obviously enjoy food and trying new restaurants! I encourage you to do the same! It’s so fun stepping out of your comfort zone! And remember… be KIND to YOURSELF!

I can’t believe my picky eater grew up to be such an adventurous eater. Definitely your good influence!
