I am so so SO excited that the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale is finally here! Definitely a great way to start the new year! I hope this post serves as a great resource for you to navigate the sale online. First things first… the sale beings tomorrow, Monday, online at 8:00 am EST! Online shopping begins Monday, January 4th around 8:00 am(ish) EST and will run through 11:59 pm EST on Tuesday, January 5th.
If you are reading this blog post on Sunday, the day before the sale, a lot of my links will take you to the Lilly Pulitzer website but you will see a note that the specific product linked is unavailable. On Monday, these products will be available so feel free to leave a tab open on your browser so you can refer back to this post.
Tips For Shopping Online:
– Create an Online Account Now!
I highly suggest making an account on the Lilly website ahead of time. When you checkout during the sale, the items in your cart are not reserved. By having an account set up with all of your shipping and payment info ready, you’ll be able to secure your most wanted items quicker before they sell out! If you already have an account set up, double-check that all the details are correct!
– Securing a Place in the Virtual Line
When the sale begins you will be placed in a virtual line to shop so that the website doesn’t crash. Don’t be surprised if your number 102,000 in line! It will go by quicker than you expect and usually the estimated wait time is incorrect. Don’t refresh the page! You will lose your place in line if you do! Also, I like to get to their website earlier than 8:00 am. I will have the website up the night before and watch the page closer to 8:00 am. DONT refresh the page! The page will automatically reload once the sale starts and place you in line. If you refresh the page, you will wait longer to get into the sale. You can also open the website on multiple devices! I’ve heard rumors that some people get on quicker on their desktop and some quicker on their phones.
-Plan What You’re Shopping For:
Make a list of important events coming up and vacations. Plan ahead! Do you need more shorts, dresses, tops, jumpsuits or cardigans? If you arent sure but still want some Lilly goodies then set a budget because there is no need to spend all your coins on this sale!
-Know Your Size:
For my petite ladies, Lilly can run slightly big. I like items that are mostly cotton and Luxletic. I size up in Luxletic but take my usual 00/XXS in everything else. I find that 00 shorts and skirts/skorts always fit me perfectly! Keep in mind maxi dresses and maxi skirts will most likely need to be hemmed. If you want a maxi length look without hemming, go for the midi style dresses and skirts. A few petite friendly styles I love are: Mila shift dress, Tikki wrap romper, all skorts, buttercup shorts, Ophelia dresses, Pearl rompers, Beacon dress, Marlowe dress, Lottie romper, Haylee top, Karmin cami, Tatum cardigan, Luxletic Brandy tank, Luxletic leggings, Alessa top, and the Danni crop jumpsuit.
– Price Matching
Both Nordstrom and Saks will price match the Lilly Pulitzer website. The quickest way to do this is to start a customer service chat online with a representative. They will ask you to send them a link from the Lilly website of the exact item to show the current price. They will then price match the item for you.
– Other Retailers Participating in the Sale:
There are a few smaller stores participating in the Lilly APS sale! I do not receive a commission when you shop at some of these stores BUT I want to be a resource for you, and I know the feeling of being on the hunt for a very special piece!

If you are able to shop small, please support my friends at Pink On Main. This is a small female-owned boutique in my hometown of Spartanburg. You can order online or call the store if you need help finding a specific item or size. I know they will appreciate your business!
Cheers and happy shopping!
